Harold's gun

Fat wsb

Anyone who knows Harold (A.K.A. "Fuzz" on Spearboard) will know why this was such an exciting build for me. For those of you who don't - here's why... Not only is Harold a world class freediver, he is the fishiest man alive. I don't mean that in a criminal sense, but in a good fisherman sense (although the amount of big fish he shoots could be considered robbery!). To give an example of this, I'd like to do a little something out of the ordinary; before continuing, check spearboard.com  to see Harold's latest exploit (this time with his new gun) and read a story straight from a man who has clearly sold his soul to the Devil!  Now does it make sense (I hate the guy too, by the way)?! The reason has to be obvious why it was such an important build. Nobody shoots more quality fish than Harold, and having him on team Sea Sniper is an excellent addition!

Most of the details of the gun are like a regular Pro 60, with the exception of a few slight modifications.  Since Harold likes a slightly lighter gun, we (Harold's idea by the way) changed the titanium side tubes to carbon fiber, saving about 8 oz. To shave a little more weight, the second laminate was thinned by approximately 1/16" as were the side cuts, making the gun slightly narrower on all dimensions. All other features were kept standard with the exception of the handle, which was custom shaped by Harold.

Side note: I would like to say thank you to Harold, who has spent countless hours at the Sea Sniper shop helping to get the business off the ground. He is a good friend, a great guy, and truly a pleasure to be around. I just wanted him to know that he is more than just the ultimate advertisement!
