GOTM October 2006

Anyone who knows Ken, knows he is a true artist. A gyotaku master, Ken created my favorite art piece; a print of a white sea bass I shot at Santa Cruz Island. Building him a gun was a great honor.

Knowing that Ken likes to keep his frames simple, as to not overshadow the artwork, I kept the gun simple knowing that the art would come in his hunting. The small red "hanko" (family stamp) that he puts on each of his finished artwork was laminated onto the stock.
