By trade, Jeff is an exceptionally talented tattoo artist. He also happens to be an avid freedive hunter. Like Doug Jones, he loves to build his own guns. A regular at the Sea Sniper shop, Jeff wanted to build a tuna gun for an upcoming trip to Mexico. Hoping to get Jeff, an excellent hunter, to use my spearguns, I made him a deal - He could use the Sea Sniper Pro Model design and pay for materials only. In exchange, he would help on several guns that were going into production.

Jeff selected padauk, a very stable marine-grade hardwood known for its beautiful bright orange-red color. The gun was increased in mass (Jeff's preference), and the trigger mechanism was moved two inches closer to the muzzle for easier loading (he's got several plates and screws in his wrist from skateboard injuries). All other features of the gun were standard, with the exception of some personal touches like Mori's 9/64" stainless wishbones and Kitto's special multi-fin 3/8" shaft and Millenium 2 Trigger Mechanism.

Jeff still helps at the shop with some of the production operations. He is currently building a Custom 66", 4-band 11/32" shaft gun for an upcoming trip to Panama.
Sea Sniper is also building him a Pro 36, Pro 48, and a Pro 60. All of which, he will have a hand in; and all of which, will be made of padauk.
